Gauge is not essential for this project.
This pattern includes 2 sizes and body versions:
Pippi (the pink poodle) comes with a separate removable waistcoat (included in the meterage) and is knitted in double strand 4ply (Lang Yarns Merino 150). You will need 3.25mm and 3.75mm needles
Evie (white poodle) - knitted in double strand 2ply (Debbie Bliss Rialto Lace). You will need 2.25mm needles
By knitting double strand you get a fluffier texture. You can, however, knit in 8ply and 4ply respectively - you will require half the meterage.
Pippi is approx 15 inches tall, 7 inches when seated. Evie is 11 inches tall, 6 inches when seated
