If you enjoyed my 2011 book, Knit your own Royal Wedding (to celebrate William marrying Kate), I hope you'll love these new additions. Here I have created a more mature and bearded Harry - this time joined by the gorgeous Meghan, complete with the lovely dress she wore when the couple announced their engagement.
The Harry doll is about 23cm/9in tall and Meghan is about 21cm/just under 8.5in tall.
To knit Harry, you will need approx. 40m/44yd flesh tone yarn for the main doll, 42m/44yd yarn for the suit - and other yarns in smaller quantities.
To knit Meghan, you will need approx. 37m/40yd flesh tone yarn for the main doll, 16m/17yd yarn for the dress - and other yarns in smaller quantities.
Please use 100% wool, wool/acrylic mix or premium acrylic yarns only - avoid cotton, linen and bamboo yarns.You don't have to use the same yarn brand throughout.
Recommended yarns include Sirdar Country Style and King Cole Merino Blend DK. Painbox Yarns Simply DK is useful for small quantities.
