At one time I was making mohair sheep. A gentleman, who had seen the sheep, approached me at work. He told me his daughter loved poodles and asked if I could make one for her. Of course I told him I would see what I could do. Shortly after he left, I suddenly saw how he should look and knew exactly how I could do this. I quickly grabbed a nearby napkin and wrote out the complete pattern. So appeared Puddles Poodle. He turned out to be a big hit.
