Crochet this colorful and warm afghan for a loved one or yourself. The textured wavy stitch is fun to work up and a delight to look upon. It also works up quickly. The inspiration for this afghan was a photo of a sunset from the Bayou St. John in New Orleans; hence its name. :-) The pattern includes the inspiration photo.
The completed afghan measures 39" x 52", but can be customized to any size preference.
The pattern is written in English with US crochet terms. The pattern includes 16 pages of step-by-step instructions with many, many photos, as well as, shortened directions without photos and a 1 page "abbreviated written pattern" for printing. One of the exciting features of this afghan is that the ends do not need to be woven in; they are left and tied together for fringe.
