PUMPKIN PARTY Halloween beanie hat knitting pattern. Novelty Halloween pattern in 5 sizes to suit everyone from six months upwards. The hat is worked in one piece, using two main colours, with separately knitted embellishments added to the finished item. The hat & all the embellishments are knitted on two straight, single point needles, mainly in Stocking stitch (1 row Knit, 1 row Purl). The hat is seamed at the centre back. Instructions are given separately, step by step, for the hat & each embellishment (ghost, pumpkin, cat & spider) so you can design your own version of the hat and add as many as you like. The suggested yarn for this pattern is King Cole Merino Blend DK, which is a 100% anti-tickle wool yarn. However, most DK yarns of choice would be suitable for this project.
