Pure and Simple

Pure and Simple is a top down, crescent shaped, shawl worked in two yarns; one a fingering weight and the other a kidsilk mohair. As the shawl grows the size of the stripes and their frequency change until you reach the solidity of the border. This pattern is suitable for almost any fingering weight yarn and any kid silk mohair. The possibilities and combinations are huge, so whether you use simple and solid colours, two contrasting colours, variegated yarns or two weights of the same colour you can tailor this pattern to suit your own tastes.
