This four-colored “Quad Beanie” uses small amounts of bulky weight yarn to create a fun chevron pattern that looks great in any color combination. Since the individual yarn quantities are so small, I have found that this hat is an excellent stash-busting project as well. Also, I think selecting yarn colors is half the fun. Don’t be afraid of trying some bold combinations.
Gauge With US 7 needles, 18 sts and 20 rows make a 4” square in (k1, p1) ribbing
With US 10 needles, 14 sts measure 4" across in the fair isle hat pattern
