I designed these mittens based on the theme "crystals" for a group challenge that I was participating in. I started with the large diamonds and then filled in the spaces.
Finished measurements for S (M, L): Width: 9.5 (10, 11.25) cm, 3 ¾, (4, 4 ½) inches. Length: 24 (26.5, 29.25) cm, 9 ½ (10 ½, 11 ½ ) inches. Thumb opening to tip: 12.5 (14, 15.25) cm, 5 (5 ½ , 6) inches.
Yardage: Sport weight in 3 contrasting colors. I used: Cascade 220 sport. MC: Natural 90 - 145 yds, 83 - 133) m, CC1: Christmas red 37 - 45 yds, 34-41m . CC2: Navy 56 - 85yds, 51 - 78m.
