Quatre de carreau toe-up sock pattern shows off diamonds worked in garter and slip stitches. Two kinds of heels are provided: the afterthought heel, worked at the end, keeps colours flowing; the knitted-in heel flap adds an extra strength, helping your socks to last for ages.
