Raccoon Hat - Newborn to Adult

Isn't this little raccoon hat adorable?? And it is so easy to make too!

This pattern is beginner, and is written in american terms.

Materials Worsted weight yarn in black, white and grey 5.5mm hook 3.5mm hook Yarn needle If using buttons for eyes: 2 appropriate sized black buttons Sewing needle and black thread

Abbreviations Ch = Chain Hdc = Half double crochet Hk = Hook Sc = Single crochet Sl st = Slip stitch St = Stitch

Finished Measurements NOTE: Circumference is measured around outside of hat, height is measured from end of last increase round to edge of hat. Both measurements are approximate.

0-3 months: 14 inch circumference, height 3 inches 3-6 months: 15.5 inch circumference, height 3.75 inches 6-12 months: 17 inch circumference, height 4 inches Toddler – Small Child: 18.5 inch circumference, height 3.75 inches Older Child – Small Teen: 20 inch circumference, height 4 inches Large Teen - Adult: 21.5 inch circumference, height 4.5 inches
