These beautiful handwarmers were inspired by the gorgeous colours of the rainbow and the rain as shown by the fairisle detail which looks like rainbow rain drops. This design is part of a collection of four patterns with the Rainbow Drops motif (which includes leg warmers, hand warmers, pullover, and cowl).
The handwarmers are knit in the round with 5mm (8US) double pointed needles. The pattern includes instructions for three sizes, with blocked measurements around the knuckles of 7” (9”, 11”) / 18cm (23cm, 28 cm).
The sample is knit with worsted weight, Rios, Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool, worsted), 100 grams/192m (210 yards) per skein, skeins in:
1 skein Camaleon (684), 192m (210 yards), Contrast Colour (CC)
1 skein Ivory (704), 192m (210 yards), Main Colour (MC)
There are endless potential great colour combinations!
