Rainbow Wall Hanging

The pattern includes a mini rainbow (9 inch wide x 6 inch high) and a normal size rainbow (17.5 inch wide x 9.5 inch high).

The pattern is written in both US and UK crochet terminology.

The mini rainbow needed about 27 grams coloured yarn and about 10 grams white yarn in total, while the big one needed about 115 grams of yarn in total (coloured and white).

I used Tivoli Blockbuster Chunky yarn with a 5.5 mm hook and white Robin Super Chunky yarn with the same size hook.

For Stylecraft Special DK fans, good news! The pattern worked in double strand of Stylecraft Special DK is approximately the same size as the one worked in Tivoli Chunky. The photo shows the following colours in Stylecraft Special DK (Violet, Turquoise, Aspen, Citron, Jaffa and Lipstick). The white is Robin Bonny Babe DK. Overall 39 g of yarn were used (35 g overall coloured yarn and approximately 5 g of white yarn).
