I have created a video tutorial for one of the special stitches used in my pattern.
Recommended yarn is chunky with a size 10mm crochet hook. I use 2/3 strands at once (depending on type of yarn) so need around 15 x 100g skeins at 150m per skein = approx. 2250m. Always purchase a ball or 2 more just in case ;) Shown in Panda Big Easy (now discontinued). A suggested substitute is shown below.
