Rayna - lace cape

This lovely lace Cape will be a wonderful addition to your wardrobe. The open lace stitch gives a light and airy feel yet it still provides extra warmth across the shoulders and back. A single button at the neck holds it securely in place.

Sizes: S (M-L-XL).

Width at lower edge (approx): 140 (150-160-170) cm [55 (59-63-67) ins].

Length (approx): 30cm [12 ins].

Yarn required: 2 balls Creative Basics Esther 8ply, 100g balls@220m.

Needles required: A 5.50mm [UK 5, US 9] circular knitting needle.

Wool needle for sewing in ends.

Also required: A button.

Tension: 15 sts and 26.5 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over patt, using 5.50mm needles.

This Cape has been worked on larger needles and at a looser tension than usually recommended.
