This beanie was a gift to an ex-work collegue who has done me a great favour.
Thing was that I had been working at a big company as temporary (lended worker, so I was employed at a sub-company and lent to the big firm) but didn't get the same pay as regular workers at the firm for the same work, which is quite unfair but still common use in Germany.
I had to sue and finally got equal pay after "only" 5 years of a hard trial phase.
The big company denied giving me a work reference/certificate and I was left quite alone by ex-work collegues and former team leaders (because they were afraid of negative effects with the big firm) and even the trade union of which I was part of during that time.
Except this guy. The sweetest thing he did was write me a a work reference for the time I worked at this big company confirming the tasks I did there.
I was so thankful (tears of joy were running down my face when I read the work reference he wrote for me..) that I wanted to give him someth
