I live in Winterpeg/Winnipeg. It is freezing cold here for a few months. (It really is very warm in summer.) When I wrote this pattern, the temperatures were in the minus 40s (that’s centigrade). You could say I was inspired. Also, I was born in the early 1980s (yes, it’s relevant to the pattern).
Pattern was written to use up an entire skein of this delicious bulky Noro, but can easily be made taller with additional repeats. The stitch pattern is simple knits and purls. It's a very quick knit.
