Meet our totally adorable Red Panda Cub. He's cute, cuddly and ready for you to knit her up.
While our Red Panda Cub is rated as an intermediate pattern, she's really not too difficult for an advanced beginner looking for a challenge. Go slow, be patient and remember to have fun. :)
You will need approximately 30 m of medium weight rust red yarn, 62 m of medium weight dark brown yarn and 12 m of medium weight cream yarn. With these yarns use 4 mm (US size 6) needles. You will also need stuffing (we use ecofil or wool), a small amount of black yarn for the eyes nose and mouth and a tapestry needle to sew your red panda cub together.
Use the yarn we suggest, or any yarn you like. This pattern scales easily, so any thickness of yarn works beautifully.
