This pattern can be made using any yarn and the recommended hook for the yarn. It is versatile and can be used for various projects. I personally preferred to use it for a scarf as it falls beautifully specially with a soft yarn.
I first used the pattern for a chunky scarf with several colours and then wanted to see what it would look like in one colour with a softer yarn. I used Caron Simply Soft Victorian Rose for the softer version and I love the way it falls and drapes.
This pattern is written in US terms.
Gauge for Caron Simply Soft: 2 rows of 10 dc (US terms) = 7 cm x 3 cm (unblocked)
