This pattern is written in the round. This is an advanced beginner pattern, but you must know how to knit in the round and cast onto double pointed needles. You must know how to use double point needles.
This is an adventurous beginner pattern skill level: I provide a link to a Youtube video to help with the "adventurous increase"
I use Flexible double points, but you can certainly use the traditional set of 4
---4.5mm for size small/medium), (5mm large) double point knitting needles for size changes
---Cat 4 worsted weight (115 yards) I used Red Heart Roll With It- Malange, which I consider a lighter worsted weight. If you use a thick worsted weight I would decrease your needle size by 1 size.
