I call this hat, and its companion scarf “Riding the Rails” Ribbed Infinity Scarf and fingerless gloves, “Riding the Rails” because this light and stretchy beanie-style hat is perfect to toss on for a walk along the train tracks just as the stars are coming out on a clear, chilly evening.
This pattern is for a lightweight but warm beanie / toque. It is designed to work perfectly with Lion Brand Wool-Ease worsted-weight yarn, but you can also use your favorite worsted-weight yarn.
