Ripples Table Runner

Inspiration can come from anywhere. This table runner pattern mimics the gentle ripples in water created from a soft, spring rain. The motifs are crocheted individually, then attached together. With these instructions, you can create the layout shown here, or, by picking and choosing which motifs to make, you can create an unlimited array of configurations to fit any table shape and size!

DIFFICULTY: MODERATE

This pattern is completed using mostly chains, half-double crochets, single crochets, and slip stitches. Although the stitches used are simple, getting the motifs to come out flat might be a challenge, and that is why the level of difficulty is “Moderate.” The motifs will not look flat as you make them, but if you’re patient, these motifs WILL lay flat.
