Ok, ok, ok. This sweater is like a Lifetime movie with a brokenhearted heroine who goes to a friend’s beach house in the winter to get away from it all and write her own novel. Then of course we all know what happens... but when she’s running towards her new love she is wearing THIS SWEATER. Amiright?
Plus, it’s easier than it looks! Lots of chunky cables with bulky yarn and big needles make it a breeze to knit, and the shawl collar is attached at the end. NO SHORT ROWS. Hooray!
It’s knit from the bottom edge up towards the shoulders and then it splits at the neck opening for the two front panels. Minimal seams for the WIN. Some fun texture on the sleeves, a few garter stitch rounds around the body opening, a quick collar and you’ll be wearing this in no time.
