Ah, summer! The sweet scent of roses drifts on the wind, and in the garden, strawberries, glossy and ripe, wait to be picked. This is the time of warm evenings and long, lazy days. In 2018, the Rose Moon falls on June 28, just after the summer solstice. Rose Moon is a crescent shaped shawl with a simple twisted stitch to give its body texture, and a border with an arching lace pattern reminiscent of a rose arbour.
The sample was knit with Robin and Wren Yarns’ Merino Fingering Single Ply in the Morning Rose colourway.
