Once again inspired by the stained glass windows found in churches and the wonderful array of multicolour yarns available.
The colourwork on this pattern is worked from charts, initial instructions are given for setting up placement of colours, the instructions for the back are written
Materials required for cushion: size 3 mm knitting needles, 150g DK weight yarn in main colour plus 75g in a contrast colour, 3 x 2 cm buttons for cushion back, 40 cm square cushion pad. NOTE: The cushion works best if strongly contrasting colours are used.
Finished size: approximately 16-inches/40 cm square
Gauge: 2.5 cm/1-inch = 5 rows and 6 sts over colour pattern
