This is a very useful jacket and hat set. With semi-set in sleeves it is a neat fit but simple to knit. It will fit nicely over a onesie for a little baby but is also in larger sizes for a walking baby. The embroidery lifts it to a very stylish one of a kind garment. Naturally if you decide to knit it in a different shade choose you embroidery threads to compliment the colour. Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino is a very luxurious soft yarn which is ideal for these baby projects but you just as easily knit it is a 5ply easy care washable wool such as Patons Bluebell. The results will be just as good and Bluebell will go a bit further than Cashmerino.
