Rushmore Hat is a slightly slouched hat that lends itself to being worn in a variety of ways. The stitch pattern is stripes of stockinette and reverse stockinette that are gathered with simple pleating to create a complex looking design. The pleats make for an interesting texture and provide extra warmth. Knitting begins at the rolled brim and ends at the crown.
