Rwandan Miniyou

Amigurumi crochet pattern to make this cute Rwandan doll and her baby !

MINIYOU dolls were born back in 2019, when I went on a one month trip to Rwanda. At that time, the first prototype was named “Minime”, and I made her to be able to make photos of the trip without a selfie stick. I really loved making her clothes matching mine and giving her realistic poses in the pictures and I thought I would probably not be the only one enjoying making a smaller version of myself or any loved one ! That’s why I’m now making a “Miniyou” series in which I hope a lot of crocheters out there will find their mini version. During this trip, I also made a Rwandan version of Miniyou, to pay tribute to this country that welcomed me during 6 years of my adolescence, so here it is ! I hope you'll enjoy making her :)
