I am lucky enough to live by the sea and this jumper is inspired by the sailing boats I see from my window. It's made in soft wool to keep out the sea breezes and has a front neck fastening to make it easier to put on. I like to make it in a muted palette to give it a vintage look but it looks equally good in brights. The pattern comes in sizes 6 months up to 8 years. Instructions for the colour work include a chart and are easy to read. I have listed amounts of main colour needed but please note that you will require small amounts of three contrasting colours for the boats. If you decide to buy them you will need a 50g ball of each as this is the smallest amount you can buy.
