This blanket was designed for a friend’s baby (named Samson) and it came out so beautifully that it only seemed natural to share the pattern.
This is an easy yet beautiful blanket made up of 2 coordinating solid granny squares joined together in a checkerboard type layout. the pattern includes a matching border and 4 options for edge stitches to add that perfect finishing touch.
The pattern includes full step by step written instructions (US crochet terminology) with photos, as well as pattern charts and layout diagrams. There is also a video tutorial available on YouTube and linked in the pattern.
