Sandy is part of my 'Dolly Days Out' Collection of knitted dolls. She is dressed in her Victorian bathing belle costume complete with mop hat. The hat and shoes are sewn on. The outfit is removable
I used a variety of double knit wool in this outfit to see if the tension knitted up the same and compared for thickness of finished item. I am please to say there was no discernible difference so it is personal choice .You could use all the same brand. One ball of each colour is probably enough to make about five dollies!
