Santa on 2 needles

This is a knitting pattern for a stuffed toy Santa. The toy is knitted on 2 needles and then sewn.

MATERIALS: red DK yarn approximately: 15 - 20 g

beige DK yarn approximately: 10 g

black DK yarn approximately: 10 g

white DK yarn approximately: 10 g

handful super soft white DK yarn (100 g/170 m) for the beard

handful yellow DK yarn for the belt buckle

KNITTING GAUGE:

24 sts and 28 rows to 10 x 10 cm = 4” x 4” in stocking stitch (knit row on right side, purl row on wrong side) and 2.5 mm needles.

Gauge is not critical for this project. Work tight enough to make sure the stuffing would not show through the stitches.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 23 cm/ 9.055’’ (without the hat)

The size will vary based on yarn type, needle size and your personal tension.
