This simply elegant top adorned with twelve buttons is perfect for a Summer party or any outing - other than staying home!
Stockinette stitch shines in this pullover. It is constructed flat then closed up by overlapping fronts with long running stitches. Tiny buttons are then sewn on beginning at the waist and extending all the way up to the shoulder giving a slimming, long look to enhance any body type. It can be made with or without waist shaping. It uses set-in sleeves and German short rows for the shoulders.
The cotton/linen blend yarn chosen has a slight thick and thin texture, making this summer top go from casual to date-time evening wear.
