They don’t use a lot of yarn so are great for using up leftover yarn, so long as it is 100% cotton in a DK weight, feel free to use any yarn and any color you have on hand or that you prefer.
I show these in a minimalist/rustic color option of white and grayish brown, but feel free to make them colorful, use traditional Christmas colors, try multicolor yarn for the contrast color, mix and match for an eclectic set of coasters… there are so many fun possibilities!
