The cardigan is knitted from top down seamlessly. You will start with the collar in garter stitch, then you will do an increase set to shape the yoke, including a lace pattern. Then you separate body and sleeve, finally you will knit the body: the front in stockinette st and the back in lace to finish with an I-cord. The sleeve will be knitted in round at the end in stockinette st and will end with a lace pattern and I-cord.
