This pattern comes in couple of options so that you can make the basket with or without handles and using a wooden bottom for baskets or making a crochet base.

Materials – 8.0-mm (0 UK) Hook – 60 m (65.6 yards) of Super Bulky T-shirt yarn (5-6 wpi) in color 1 (for the waves) – 60 m (65.6 yards) of Super Bulky T-shirt yarn (5-6 wpi) in color 2 (for the background) – Tapestry Needle – Scissors Optional – 20-cm (8”) Round Wooden Bottom for Crochet Baskets with 53 or 45 holes.
Size The finished Sea Waves Basket is approximately 7″ (17.5 cm) tall and it has a diameter of 9.5″ (24 cm).
Gauge 10 knit sts for 9.5 rows worked in tapestry crochet.
