When I saw this yarn in my March, yARNABLE by Hypnotic Yarn subscription box I said, “If I was a skein of yarn, this is what I would look like!” It is so beautiful and all my favorite colors. I knew I wanted a special pattern for this special yarn.
The stitch pattern for this sock is the “Old Shale” pattern. It reminded me of seashells and seemed a perfect fit for this yarn and summer vacation.
Don’t let the image fool you - this is an easily memorized 8-row repeat that will make any variegated or tonal yarn shine. I hope you enjoy the process and the product!
The pattern is written for Small, Medium, and Large Adult sizes.
You will need your favorite sock knitting needles, 100g of fingering weight yarn, stitch markers, a progress keeper, and a darning needle.
This pattern has been test knit.
