A very good friend of mine found out last year that her 5 year old son has leukemia. He has undergone nine months of treatments, the worst of which he has come through with flying colors. As he is ready to start with the latest phase of treatment his immune system is strengthening and he is able to get back to being a somewhat normal kid. His treatment will still continue for the next three and a half years. They are holding a silent auction to aid his family in travel and medical expenses for these treatments and I knew that I had to contribute to help these amazing people. I wrote this pattern, the prototype is being donated to the auction with all earnings going to them.

It is available in three hat sizes: *Child/Teen (20"/50.8cm.) *Small Adult (22"/55.88cm.) *Large Adult (24"/61cm.).

Cowl is customizable from fitted to infinity.
