Serpentine Hat

The serpentine stone gets its name from the word “serpent” because it often has a mottled or scale-like appearance. It comes in a range of tones including brown-reds, brown-yellow, greens, and even white. Meditation over serpentine is said to help one find inner peace. Other uses of the stone include protection against poisonous creatures, balancing of mood swings, and the ability to find peaceful solution to conflict.


The photos for the Serpentine hat show a beanie, however, the design is very easily lengthened to create a semi slouchy, or slouch style hat. The pattern will note how many repeats to work for your preferred style.
