I love classic sweaters, especially turtlenecks and cables, because they never really go out of style. Easy to update with yarn and color choice, they make a great addition to any wardrobe.
The body is worked in one piece from the bottom up, then divided at the armholes to work the front and back separately to the shoulders which are shaped using wrap-and-turn short-rows. The stitches are then joined using Three-Needle Bind-Off.
The sleeves are worked in the round from the cuff up, then worked back and forth once stitches are bound off at the underarm length.
Kelbourne Woolens Andorra is a great blend of 60% merino, 20% Highland wool, 20% mohair. Anyone who remembers Dale Garn Tiur will love this yarn!
