This design was inspired by the yarn used: Good for Ewe’s Claddagh. I have a lot of Irish in me, and St. Patricks Day is always big in our house. The bright green just called for a shamrock Fair Isle motif. I found this one in Mary Jane Muckelstone’s book, 200 Fair Isle Motifs. It is knit in an incredibly soft merino, baby llama, and Donegal blend, that feels great around your neck. It’s one I plan to wear all winter!
