Shelley's Winter Hat and Scarf Set is knitted in double knitting yarn and knits up quite quickly. The pattern is easy for new knitters and knitters who don't feel comfortable using other colours in their work. I'm sure the finished article will help you gain confidence in this department.
This is made for a small chuld's head but that depends on the head and your tension.
You can choose which type po pom pom you would like to finish the set off with. I have chosen the traditional pom pom . I have used a pom pom maker to make them as they do turn out extrememly well and are far quicker to make as opposed to the traditional way with cardboard.
