This quick and easy baby hat is a hit at baby showers, as well as being perfect for charity knitting, and has a matching sweater. The smallest size of this hat took me literally an hour to make, from casting on to weaving in the ends. If you factor in time to get ready, wrap it up (possibly with the sweater you made during the week) and drive or walk to the shower, you are ready to go with a gift that will be appreciated.
Materials: approximately 45 (55, 70) yards / 40 (50, 65) meters bulky yarn
Sizes: Newborn (3 - 9 months, 12 months - 4T)
Finished Measurements: 12 (16, 20) inches / 30 (40, 50) cm circumference
Skills Required: Knitting in the round, decreasing.
