Plaid is one of my favorite motive. It's simple yet stylish at the same time. And it can be genderless too if you want. This hat is easy knitting. Won't need sophisticated knitting skills yet still fun to make. And will give a bit of adventure to beginner knitter.
This is easy knitting. If you already mastering basic knitting, and knitting in round, then you ready for this pattern.
I made this hat in 4 sizes: big baby, child or teen, adult regular, adult big.
The samples knitted in local soft acrylic yarn, but feel free using any DK yarn that suited for 3.5 - 4.5 mm knitting needle.
What you need are = 2 colors DK weight yarns (1 full ball of main color, and half ball of the second color)
Gauge: 21 stitches and 28 rows = 10 cm in stockinette 4 mm needle
Yardage: 164 - 219 yards (150 - 200 m)
