Sinfonie Geometriche Shawl

This is a modular shawl. It is a process that will not bore you because you have to change the color or the direction of the work often, but at the same time it is not complex because everything is worked in garter stitch! This shawl has a triangular and very elongated shape. It is worked from the central triangle and then gradually the side tips will be worked.

MaterialsMalabrigo Sock (100 g/3.60 oz, 403 m/440 yds, 100% Pure Superwash Merino Wool): 400 mt/438 yds of fingering yarn, color 724 Flavia (MC). Garnstudio Drops Nord (50 g/1.8 oz, 170 m/186 yds, 45% alpaca, 30% polyamide, 25% wool): 340 mt/372 yds of sport yarn, color 02 Black (CC). Needles: 3.5 mm US 4 circular neeldle at least 80 cm 32” or longer. Other: Stitch holder or waiste yarn, Tapestry needle, Scissors, Pins for blocking the shawl.

Gauge20 sts and 48 rows = 10 cm 4” in Garter Stitch after blocking, using the Drops Nord yarn.
