This gender neutral beanie in 5 sizes (to fit HEAD SIZES 40cm (16’’) to 65cm (26’’), is a beginner friendly, colour work design in 2 colours, & 1 of 3 colour work options in my hat design portfolio.
The pattern is easily worked, starting with a (half) twisted single rib, before launching into the body of the hat, which also features short floats - no trapping/twisting needed!
Lengthening options for a more slouchy fit are included in the pattern, which I’m sure will quickly become a favourite when you realise how intuitive the design is, & the tremendous potential it offers for ‘playing with’ yarns & colour. I’m thinking a self striping yarn with a solid or semi solid could be amazing - note to self!
The pattern includes simple charts as well as written instructions, so you can choose which you prefer to follow.
