Cold weather, wild nature and rustic yarn inspired me for designing this shawl. I wanted to create a perfect accessory for cold days to stay warm and enjoy all the beauty of the wintriness. No matter if during a walk in a foggy late autumn forest or at a windy winter ocean coast, this shawl will always be the perfect companion to stay cozy.
Skarn has an asymmetrical triangular shape and is knitted from one corner to the opposite side with increases. The stitch pattern is made of horizontal sections which are slightly inclined because of the shawls shape.
This knitting pattern has an easy skill level and it is suitable for knitting beginners as well as for advanced knitters looking for a relaxing project. Following knitting techniques are needed: Long Tail Cast On, knitting and purling stitches, working a yarn over, knit through the back loop (twisted stitch), simple Bind Off.
