Sleepless Heart

Sleepless Heart it’s a crescent shaped shawl knitted top-down. The center section has a romantic lace pattern resembling hearts and a wavy lace ribbing on the sides. All the three sections dissolve into a striking edging. As shown, the shawl is finished with a picot bind-off for extra loveliness, but instructions for an elastic bind-off are also included.

Materials: Approx 830.8m m of sport yarn; st markers; size 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles; size 6 mm (US 10) for the bind-off, tapestry needle; pins for blocking; You may also use DK or fingering yarn, yardage will vary depending of yarn weight, needle size, gauge and number of pattern repeats.

Skills needed: provisional cast-on, K, P, P2tog, Ssp, YO, Dyo, K2tog, Ssk, M1R, M1L, elastic BO or picot BO, single cast-on, Kf&b, drop sts, knit sts from previous rows (fully explained into pattern). Wet block the shawl and woven in ends.
