Their simple construction with no crown shaping creates fun Ears on the top.
Choose Worsted weight yarns for Baby & Child sizes or Bulky weight yarns for Teen & Adult sizes.
Each hat is knit with the same stitch count, uses only 100-125 yards of yarn, and works up quickly; making it a great last-minute gift!
Style and Stitches: Knit from the bottom up, with a flat cuff that includes placement for the Nose, then continuing in the round, with purl stitches for the inner Ears and ending without any crown decreases! A 3-needle bind off creates the Ears (with photos to help).
Stitches include: Knit, purl, color stripes, slip stitches and a few decreases for the tails. Duplicate stitch (or optional Intarsia) for the Nose and Eyes.
