This knitted Beanie is worked on a set of 5 double pointed needles using two shades of grey DK or light worsted. It uses a slip stitch technique to create a beautiful mosaic effect that works especially well in two shades of the same colour as shown here.
Materials 1 x 50g ball of MC and 1 x 50g ball of Contrast of any DK (Light Worsted Weight) that has a tension of to 22 sts and 28 rows to 10 cm worked on 4 mm (US 6, Canada/UK 8)needles. 1 set 5 DPN size 4.5 mm, (US 7, Canada/UK 7) and 5 mm. (US 8, Canada/UK 6)
Measurement The hat measures 56 cm (22.5 ins) all round at the lower edge.
