Snefnug (snowflake) reminds me of my favourite children’s book: Ronia Robber’s daughter by Astrid Lindgren. In Ronia’s Scandinavia, snowflakes are found in abundance. As a child I too was a little Ronia, getting lost in the forest and speaking with the trolls. These little snefnugs are my tribute to snow in all its beautiful shapes. I hope you will enjoy making them.
**Gauge:**Gauge is not important for this project. I recommend playing with yarns and hooks to make different sizes.
**Yarn:**√ You can vary with yarn weights from crochet thread to dk. Cotton, acrylic, linen, bamboo and viscose are all good options for these ornaments. √ Silver and gold yarns make for extra shiny Christmas ornaments, a possible yarn choice could be Disco Down from Wool and the Gang.
